Advertising & affiliates

Current status

Advertising is currently disabled. Affiliate boxes are currently disabled. When disabled, ad slots and affiliate components render nothing.

What does not change

Tools still run in your browser. We do not upload your inputs to our servers for processing, and we do not deliberately send tool contents to ad networks. Loading the page still uses hosting/CDN. See the Privacy Policy.

UX contract (when ads are on)

• Tool UI stays first — ads render below the tool, never above the primary controls.
• At most two manual units per page — never AdSense Auto ads.
• Reserved heights and fixed rectangle format to limit layout shift (CLS).
• Each unit is labeled “Advertisement” with a link back to this page.
• Consent (Funding Choices or our cookie banner) before ad tags in regions that require it.
• Declined consent or blocked ads collapse empty space; we may show a quiet fallback tip instead of a blank box.

Advertising

When ads are on, we may show Google AdSense (or similar) via those manual units. Third-party ad scripts share the page context like any other script. Ad networks use their own cookies and policies. See also ads.txt and the Cookie Policy.

Affiliates

When affiliate features are on, some recommendations may include tracking links. We only recommend products we believe are relevant; commissions do not change tool math or file processing. Disclosed affiliate boxes stay clearly labeled.
